ABOUT

To celebrate the launch of the limited edition collaboration between Tory Burch and BonBon, our team partnered with BMF Agency to bring the playful, candy-inspired collection to life on the streets of New York City. The collaboration reimagined iconic Tory Burch accessories through the lens of BonBon’s colorful sweets, gummies, marshmallows, and licorice… creating a joyful, nostalgic aesthetic rooted in bold colors and whimsical textures.

Our role was to transform this vibrant brand moment into an immersive street-level experience that invited the public to engage with the collaboration in a memorable and shareable way.

The Challenge

Luxury fashion collaborations live online and in stores, but the goal was to extend the Tory Burch x BonBon partnership into a real world experience that felt spontaneous, playful, and unmistakably New York.

The challenge was twofold: Translate a high fashion capsule collection into a street level activation that felt approachable and fun. Create a visually striking experience that could stop foot traffic, drive social sharing, and capture the whimsical spirit of the candy inspired collection… All while operating within a busy city environment and delivering an experience that could attract thousands of visitors over a multi-day activation

The Approach

We designed a vibrant experiential concept that brought the collaboration directly to the public. The activation featured branded tuk-tuks connected by a playful “road” installation, surrounded by oversized candy inspired visual moments that mirrored the bright colors and textures of the collection. Guests were invited to interact with the space, snap photos, and participate in a candy guessing game for a chance to win prizes.

To deepen engagement, brand ambassadors distributed complimentary Swedish candy samples, encouraging visitors to taste the inspiration behind the collection while exploring the activation.

The result was an immersive environment that blurred the lines between fashion, confectionery, and street culture, bringing the collaboration to life in a way that felt both elevated and playful.

Candy Coated City Moment

Luxury fashion rarely meets the sidewalk, but this activation flipped the script. By bringing Tory Burch’s candy inspired designs into a vibrant outdoor setting, the activation transformed a public plaza into a larger-than-life celebration of color, texture, and nostalgia. From candy themed photo moments to eye-catching branded vehicles, every detail was designed to feel Instagram-ready and irresistibly shareable. The installation invited passersby to step into the world of Tory Burch x BonBon, creating a dynamic intersection between fashion, fun, and everyday city life.

A Sweet Spot for Discovery

Over the course of the three day activation, thousands of guests stopped by to explore, sample candy, and capture photos within the playful environment.

What started as a curbside pop-up quickly evolved into a cultural moment, turning a fashion collaboration into a public experience that blended luxury, nostalgia, and the unmistakable energy of New York.

By meeting audiences where they already were (on the street) the activation amplified the collaboration beyond traditional retail and into a shared, social experience that extended both brands’ reach.
