Location Procurement

Location procurement is the difference between an activation people find and one that sits empty on the wrong block. We secure high foot-traffic locations across the US and internationally, and handle the permits, private property agreements, and local coordination that make them usable.

The Right Corner Beats the Right City

Two blocks apart can mean ten times the foot traffic. We choose locations on how people actually move through a neighborhood, where they slow down, and which side of the street gets sun in the afternoon, not on the name of the district.

We Shortlist What Is Actually Approvable

Anyone can point at a famous plaza. The useful skill is knowing which locations a city will permit, in what timeframe, and with what conditions attached, so your shortlist is made of places you can genuinely activate rather than places you would like to.

Permits Are the Real Timeline

Fabrication schedules are predictable and permit offices are not. Every city has its own process, its own lead time, and its own rules, and the prime dates in the strongest markets are claimed months ahead.

Mobile Marketing Tours

Here procurement becomes routing, and it is the hardest part. Every market is a separate permit process on its own timeline, sequenced around transport days between stops.

Guerrilla Marketing

Placement is the entire idea. The location has to deliver surprise and volume at once, and it still has to be legal, which is a narrower set of options than most brands assume.

Event Marketing

The crowd is already assembled, so the work is securing a footprint at or beside the event. Official vendor status and adjacent street placement are two very different negotiations.

Mobile Pop-Up Shops

Retail placement follows shopping behavior. Being outside the right store, on the side of the street people walk on, decides whether a mobile storefront performs.

Holiday Pop-Ups

Prime December placements are booked long in advance and compete with markets, tree lots, and every other seasonal operator for the same corners.

Our Process

Concept Development

Location and concept shape each other. We need to know what the activation asks of a space, footprint, power, queue length, and dwell time, before we can tell you where it will work.

Location Selection

This is the step. We identify high foot-traffic locations matched to your target customers, shortlist for approvability, negotiate private property agreements where needed, and pull permits market by market, coordinating with local authorities throughout.

Customization

The approved location sets the build parameters. Sidewalk width, overhead clearance, power access, and permit conditions all feed back into fabrication, which is why we confirm placement before drawings are finalized.

Execution

We handle load-in, on-site coordination with property managers and authorities, and compliance with the conditions attached to the permit, so the activation runs without an interruption from someone with a clipboard.

Location Procurement FAQs

Location procurement is identifying, securing, and permitting the physical spots where an activation will run. It covers site selection based on foot traffic and audience, negotiating private property agreements, obtaining city permits, and coordinating with local authorities.

Almost always, and requirements vary by city and often by neighborhood. Public streets need city permits, private property needs an agreement with the owner or manager, and events need vendor or exhibitor arrangements. Food service adds health permits on top.

Six to eight weeks is the floor for a straightforward single-city activation. Multi-city routes need longer because each market runs its own process. Peak summer dates go two to three months out, and holiday placements eight to twelve weeks.

High foot-traffic locations across the US and internationally, including city streets, retail districts, college campuses, festivals and events, private property, and shopping centers. Availability depends on the city, the season, and how early the process starts.

We work from where your customers actually are and how they move through an area. Foot traffic volume, walking direction, dwell behavior, nearby retail, sun and shade, and the practical footprint all matter more than the reputation of the address.

We shortlist with approvability in mind precisely to reduce that risk, and we build alternates into the plan. If a primary location falls through, having a permitted second option is what keeps the activation on its dates.

Yes, and often it is the faster route. Shopping centers, retail forecourts, office plazas, and venue grounds are negotiated with the owner or manager rather than the city, which can be quicker but comes with its own conditions and fees.

Considerably. Permit fees, private property rates, and required insurance differ by market, and prime locations in major cities carry a premium. We price the location line by market rather than applying a flat assumption across a route.

We do. On-site coordination with property managers, event organizers, and local authorities is part of the service, including compliance with any conditions attached to the permit, so your team is not managing that during the activation.

Yes. We run activations outside the US, though lead times and processes differ by country and city. International placements should be scoped earlier than domestic ones, since permitting and logistics both take longer.
