Hoka, a top performance footwear brand, made a strong impression at the Miami Marathon with an exciting, high-energy sponsorship experience to celebrate runners and boost brand visibility. Taking place on February 2nd, the one-day activation centered around engaging with marathon participants at Miami’s Baymont Park and later at La Tropical for an exclusive after-party with the Hoka team and influencers.
To create a dynamic presence, Food Truck Promotions transformed a branded food truck into an interactive engagement hub. The truck, wrapped in custom Hoka branding, served as a focal point for distributing giveaways and celebrating the athletic community. To further enhance the experience, FTP fabricated a photo wall complete with branded crates, providing an ideal backdrop for runners and attendees to capture and share their moments post-race.
Hoka’s activation emphasized community and appreciation, offering marathon participants a selection of premium giveaways. Over 6,000 branded items were distributed, including 2,000 branded water bottles, 1,000 fitness towels, trail mixes, sunglasses, Hoka tote bags, and lanyards. Unlike traditional activations requiring audience engagement for promotional items, Hoka ensured that every participant in the marathon had access to the giveaways, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to celebrating and supporting the running community.
After the marathon, the activation continued at La Tropical, where Hoka hosted an after-party with key brand ambassadors and influencers. This event gave runners a chance to relax and celebrate their accomplishments while further strengthening Hoka’s presence in the fitness and running community.
Through strategic vehicle design, immersive branding, and meaningful consumer engagement, FTP executed an activation that resonated with marathon runners and fitness enthusiasts.
