Tree Hut partnered with Food Truck Promotions to host an exclusive one-day activation in Miami to celebrate the launch of their Ulta-exclusive scent, Electric Beach. The activation’s primary goal was to boost brand awareness and generate buzz around this tropical fragrance, while immersing attendees in the vibrant essence of the new scent and promoting Tree Hut’s body care line to both loyal customers and potential new fans.
The event took place at Ulta Beauty’s Miami location, strategically situated in a busy area that attracted beauty enthusiasts, locals, and tourists. The target demographic included women aged 18-45 with an interest in skincare, beauty, and wellness—many of whom were excited for the exclusive, limited-edition product launch.
To bring the activation to life, FTP transformed their Chevy P10 into a beach-themed pop-up. The truck’s exterior was designed to capture the tropical, vibrant energy of Electric Beach, featuring custom elements such as a surfboard display wall, a life-sized life ring for photo ops, and a custom awning for shade and visual interest. Branded tables were set up for calligraphers to personalize luggage tags for guests, adding a fun, hands-on touch to the experience. These interactive elements, combined with the visually striking setup, created a highly shareable environment that encouraged social media engagement.
As part of the activation, Tree Hut offered a gift with purchase to customers who bought at least $15 worth of their products. These exclusive gifts—Stoney Clover tote bags and custom calligraphy luggage tags—added a personal, collectible element to the experience. While no free product samples were given out, display products were available for attendees to test and experience the new scent firsthand.
FTP’s expertise in experiential marketing ensured that every aspect of the activation—from the truck design to the build-out of custom features—was on-brand and engaging. The dynamic setup, paired with a team of knowledgeable brand ambassadors, created a seamless and memorable experience that resonated with visitors.
